Antón tambien es víctima del franquismo
El 28 de octubre de 1969 Antón Fernández observaba desde el balcón de su casa como los “grises” trataban de silenciar la voz de las y los Erandioztarrak, hartos de la contaminación atmosférica que nos ahogaba.
Primero salieron a la calle las mujeres, hartas de ver toser y llorar a sus hijos e hijas y del color amarillento por los sulfuros y nitritos que abundaban en el aire. Mas tarde los trabajadores que cortaron la carretera y el tren. En el tardo franquismo (1968 a 1977) la Policía Armada usaba facilmente las pistolas y de esta forma mató a Josu Murueta de un tiro en el estómago. Josu vestía el buzo de tornero, tenía 31 años, esposa y dos hijos cuando fue asesinado por la Policía. El hospital reclamó a su mujer María Pilar el coste de la atención.
Antón Fernández recibió un tiro en la cabeza estando en su casa y murío con 54 años, días mas tarde en el hospital, dejó esposa, hijo e hija y dos nietas. Para quienes tienen que decidir si es víctima del franquismo, el hecho de no participar activamente en la manifestación y estar mirando, no le consideran victima.
Para exigir su reconocimiento el 28 de octubre a las 20.00 horas nos concentraremos en la explanada del metro de Erandio, al igual que en otras ocasiones.
Es un día complicado, con partido del Athletic, asamblea del Erandio y asamblea de aitas y amas de la Ikastola Altzaga, pero no debemos olvidar que en Hego Euskal Herria murieron 86 personas y en el Estado mas de 200. La Ley 52/2007 de Memória Histórica fue tan poco difundida que sólo familiares de 11 víctimas pudieron solicitar su reconocimiento, 9 de ellas a instancias de Ahaztuak.
Sólo Josu Murueta (Erandio), Vicente Antón Ferrero (Basauri) y Roberto Pérez Jaúregi (Eibar) han sido reconocidos como víctimas, las otras seis víctimas de Ahaztuak no han sido reconocidos, entre ellos el citado Antón Fernández y Félix Arnáiz de Romo (Getxo), muerto en 1965 por disparos de la policía.
