Sentencia BATERAGUNE
A continuación reproducimos una colaboración remitida por el profesor Cesar Arrondo desde Argentina:
ARNALDO OTEGI: UN SIMBOLO PARA LAS FUTURAS LUCHAS DEL PUEBLO VASCO
La justicia española se ha manifestado sobre el caso denominado “Bateragune”. En tal sentido, el fallo del Tribunal Supremo, aplicará unas serie de condenas, con algunas graciosas rebajas, a las personas implicadas en “el delito” de intentar establecer un diálogo por la vías pacificas y democráticas, los cuales fueron protagonistas de un giro radical del escenario político vasco y que tuvo como primera y positiva consecuencia, el advenimiento de ETA a abandonar definitivamente la lucha armada y sumar con este nuevo gesto, a la posibilidad de dar una solución definitiva al conflicto político vasco. Entre los condenados se encuentra Arnaldo Otegi, una figura trascendente de la política vasca actual, a quien se le aplican seis años y medio de prisión, si bien cabe aclarar que hace ya tres años que se encuentra detenido. Pero además, se le agrega a la pena antes mencionada, la imposibilidad de participar de la actividad política, con lo cual, el Partido Popular de la mano de su brazo ejecutor, la justica española, se asegura la impugnación de Arnaldo Otegi para poder participar en las elecciones próximas de la Comunidad Autónoma Vasca.
El cambio de ciclo, del cual Eusko Alkartasuna diera el puntapié inicial, cuando Unai Ziarreta, en solitario como candidato a Lehendakari, proponía la creación de un Polo Soberanista, y la tarea posterior de muchos políticos que se reunían discretamente, con el fin que la izquierda Abertzale diera vuelta la hoja e inaugurara un nuevo ciclo bajo el liderazgo de Arnaldo Otegi, y que además, se convirtiera en una realidad la acumulación de fuerzas soberanistas, como así también, la implementación de una nueva forma de lucha de cara al futuro, signada por las vías políticas, pacíficas y democráticas.
Los nuevos gestos políticos tendrán lugar, y en esa dirección cumpliendo a pie juntillas con la Ley de Partidos Políticos del Estado español, se presenta un nuevo partido político “Sortu”, el cual no fue legalizado por la justicia española, lo que trajo como consecuencia que los militantes de la concertación de izquierdas, conformaran una nueva marca electoral denominada “Bildu”, a la cual también se intentó ilegalizar, resultando ser la sorpresa electoral, al ganar en más de 100 municipios vascos y lograr una amplia mayoría, que le permitió poder gobernar en Donostia y el Territorio Histórico de Gipuzkoa.
La prisión de Arnaldo Otegi se fue convirtiéndose en un símbolo de unidad, donde muchos militantes provenientes de diferentes familias políticas, fueron buscando denominadores comunes, dejando de lado cuestiones secundarias, continuando en el camino de sumar a esta gran familia soberanista a nuevas fuerzas políticas, acción política que se vio plasmada en la conformación de Amaiur, que obtuvo una mayoría de diputados vascos en las últimas elecciones del Estado.
La única respuesta de los Estados implicados en el conflicto político vasco ha sido el inmovilismo y la negación a cualquier mediación de la comunidad internacional, la cual a producido manifestaciones claras y contundentes para que los implicados en el conflicto, como se hiciera en Irlanda, se sentaran en una mesa generosa y sin exclusiones para construir las bases de una PAZ definitiva. De todas maneras, mientras esto no ocurra, nosotros continuaremos por el camino iniciado, trabajando, sumando y produciendo todos los gestos que sean necesarios, teniendo como referencia a Arnaldo Otegi y a todos los que hoy están privados de la libertad y de los derechos políticos en Euskal Herria, por el sólo hecho de manifestar a todo el mundo que son miembros de una Nación y que por lo tanto, quieren ejercer el derecho a decidir. Todos los vascos debemos estar convencidos que somos un Pueblo, una Nación, Euskal Herria, que quiere lograr en el corto plazo la normalización política y la PAZ y diseñar su futuro en Libertad.
