Tras los primeros días de bombardeo de resultado electorales y los plenos para constituir los ayuntamientos, voy a repasar los resultados de las elecciones municipales en hego euskalherria.

Se han dado resultados históricos en Nafarroa, gracias al trabajo continuado de ehbildu, donde nuestro mensaje se ha visto como un referente para el cambio, para el fin de la política tradicional. Ese mensaje también se ha dado en Araba, donde hemos cedido la posibilidad de tener la alcaldía de Gasteiz como segunda fuerza a un PNV que era la tercera. Es más importante el cambio que quien es la imagen del mismo, eso sólo se entiende cuando quienes están en la política ceden su puesto por el bien común.
Hay otros herrialdes donde la irrupción de nuevas fuerzas, han creado más ilusión que nuestras propuestas, en concreto en Bizkaia, donde gracias a la imagen televisiva de Podemos y los ataques que han sufrido de otras opciones, los han aupado. Precisamente donde no han podido presentarse por denuncias internas, el hundimiento del PSOE le ha facilitado la alcaldía al PNV, por ejemplo Barakaldo.
En Bilbao, el mantenimiento del número de concejales de ehbildu, frente a la pérdida del PNV, y la irrupción de dos nuevos grupos, avalan el trabajo de ehbildu.
En Gipuzkoa cuatro años de salir en ETB y en la prensa día sí y día también el tema de las basuras, más que las denuncias de malversaciones y pagos desviados, han logrado el objetivo de desgaste a ehbildu. Triste que un tema como las basuras se valore más que el aumento de la recaudación, el saneamiento de municipios, la disminución del desempleo y el aumento del turismo, pero eso es lo que tiene manejar los grandes medios.
No podemos ser tan poco hábiles como para entender que la ciudadanía con su elección también nos ha transmitido un mensaje de atención, hay cosas que hemos hecho mal y que hay que solucionar.
Dentro de la necesidad de crítica, la campaña ha tenido sus fallos, pero mayoritariamente los votos no se dan por la campaña, sino por el trabajo anterior.
También ha habido discrepancias con las candidaturas y sobre en qué tenemos que centrarnos en nuestro trabajo municipal, porque mientras para algunas personas la imagen que damos es que sólo hablamos de independencia y presos, para otras personas debíamos haber centrado más nuestro discurso en esos temas.
Probablemente quienes opinaban lo primero, lo hacían sin participar en los debates de elaboración de los herri programa y sin leer nuestras propuestas sobre el trabajo a desarrollar en los municipios.
Los que pensaban lo contrario, deben entender que el día a día de los problemas de vecinas y vecinos, nos hacen centrarnos en otros temas y tal vez, repito y tal vez, esas otras respuestas a las agresiones desde Madrid debieran gestionarse en otros foros supramunicipales y no ser el eje de cuatro años de trabajo municipal.
En Erandio todos los partidos hemos perdido un zinegotzi que ha pasado a Ganemos, pero en nuestro caso con unos objetivos de aumentar en un zinegotzi respecto a 2011, ha sido más duro, principalmente por el elevado número de votos nulos, que si alguno de ellos hubiese sido en blanco hubiese podido dejar al PP fuera del ayuntamiento de Erandio, por no llegar al 5% y si un par de ellos nos hubiesen dado su apoyo en vez de escribir frases como “aúpa athletic” o “euskal presoak euskalherrira” tal vez el trabajo de estos próximos cuatro años hubiese sido más fácil.
Pero es hora de dejar de lamernos las heridas y de buscar justificaciones, hemos hecho el trabajo, hemos convocado al pueblo para valorar los resultados y a partir de ahí lo que tenemos que hacer es trabajar, a pesar de los pactos PNV-PSOE, para el reparto de puestos y para sacar adelante sus propuestas. Debemos hacernos oír y conseguir que nuestras propuestas para mejorar Erandio y la vida de las y los Erandioztarrak salgan adelante.
