El 7 de enero de 2.012 se planteaba una manifestación para impulsar el proceso de paz, en el que uno de los puntos de la Declaración de Aiete hacía referencia a los presas y presos políticos vascos. Desde la Audiencia Nacional consideran que la sociedad vasca no debe tener la libertad para gritar en dicha manifestación consignas para el acercamiento de presos y presas
Se impone la CENSURA política.
Ante dicha falta de libertad, la manifestación pasa a ser silenciosa, pero las peticiones se mantienen:
- Que los y las presas vascas sean trasladados a Euskal Herria
- La derogación de la doctrina 197/2006 que se aplica en el Estado español y que se encamine la salida de los y las presas que ya han cumplido su condena
- La desactivación de la cadena perpetua que se impone en el Estado francés, dando paso así a la libertad condicional
- La liberación de los y las presas que han cumplido las 3/4 partes de su condena
- La liberación de los y las presas gravemente enfermas y la toma de medidas para la asistencia sanitaria adecuada para todas las personas encarceladas
- Que la política penitenciaria que aplican los estados español y francés se sitúe en claves de resolución, para incidir en positivo en la vía abierta para la solución del conflicto que vive el País Vasco
