«Sin Estado vasco no hay futuro económico para Euskal Herria»
EL 12 de octubre manifestación para reclamar la independencia de Euskal Herria. Ante la crisis, la Red Independentistak llama a romper amarras con Madrid porque el modelo económico, laboral y social que ha adoptado «nos lleva a la ruina».
La Red Independentistak anunció que el 12 de octubre, «Día de la Hispanidad», llenará las calles de Bilbo con una manifestación a partir de las 17.00 desde el Sagrado Corazón hasta la plaza de San Nicolás para reclamar la independencia de Euskal Herria y de otros pueblos del mundo. En la plaza Elíptica habrá un estruendo «para que oigan desde Madrid que este pueblo quiere la libertad», indicó Txutxi Ariznabarreta en la presentación del acto en Bilbo.
Ante la crisis actual, la iniciativa tiene un punto de vista económico, dado que «sin Estado vasco no hay futuro económico para Euskal Herria», a la vez que advirtió que ir de la mano del Estado español «es ir a la ruina».
Destacó que esa fecha es «de imposición» y representa «el genocidio e imperialismo español. La negación de la libertad y los derechos de los pueblos, pero nosotros la convertimos en el día de la libertad de los pueblos oprimidos y en proceso de independencia. Mientras se nos imponga, mantendremos esta referencia».
Ariznabarreta compareció junto a Maite Aristegi, Anton Borja, Jon Andoni del Amo y Oihana Viso, y animó a la población vasca a participar en las calles de Bilbo porque reclamar la independencia a corto plazo no es «algo específico de los abertzales, sino que lo debemos ver como algo necesario para toda la población que quiera un bienestar colectivo». A su juicio, mantener las amarras con el Estado español supone «la ruina para Euskal Herria».
Maite Aristegi señaló que «Euskal Herria necesita la independencia para construir su futuro. El estado propio es el único estatus jurídico-político que le dota de los instrumentos necesarios para su desarrollo, tanto a nivel identitario, cultural y político, como para la cohesión social y el desarrollo económico». En este sentido, expresó sin ningún tipo de duda que «es el instrumento más eficaz para hacer frente a los retos de la mundialización económica y contribuir a la construcción de la Europa social y de los pueblos que demandamos».
Aristegi expresó que «la crisis económica viene a confirmar esta necesidad, porque las políticas económicas impuestas desde los estados español y francés determinan el futuro de nuestra economía y nos privan de la capacidad de tomar nuestras propias decisiones en materia económica y sociolaboral».
La representante de la Red Independentistak aseguró que «necesitamos planificar y gestionar nuestro territorio, para articular un proyecto económico, social y medioambientalmente eficiente».
Maite Aristegi llamó a la «vertebración» del conjunto de territorios «para avanzar en la construcción del Estado vasco en Europa», que es «asimismo, la garantía para construir un sector primario basado en principios de soberanía, calidad, y seguridad alimentaria, un sector agrario y pesquero vivo y sostenible que contribuya a la mejora de la calidad de vida de la población vasca».
«Fracaso del modelo de desarrollo español»
El profesor Anton Borja destacó que «el modelo español de desarrollo ha fracasado estrepitosamente. La gran banca española y los intereses financieros protegidos y alentados por los poderes públicos españoles han fagocitado el tejido productivo y le han impedido desarrollarse y diversificarse». Explicó en este caso que la demanda de la soberanía y la independencia es, en este momento, «más necesaria que nunca», porque «el Gobierno español se ha plegado a los intereses de los poderosos» y, además, añadió que «nos han condenado por la vía constitucional a no poder tener déficit». A su juicio, son producto de las políticas neoliberales que se aplican en algunos estados en la Unión Europea, pero «no en todos». Por eso, «los vascos antes de la crisis, incluso, ya reclamábamos la independencia», pero subrayó que «ahora es más necesario que nunca, porque la política neoliberal que se ha instaurado desde Madrid va a traer más sangre, sudor y lágrimas, porque, aunque me gustaría equivocarme, quienes más saben de esto dicen que la crisis se mantendrá, por lo menos, durante más de cinco años». En este caso recordó que «se pueden hacer cosas ante la crisis y Euskal Herria puede y debe hacerlas»
